Carolina Vázquez (she/her) ist eine Kinderbuchillustratorin, die in Buenos Aires, Argentinien, lebt und arbeitet.
Carolina wurde 2000 in Buenos Aires, Argentinien, geboren. Sie wurde schon in jungen Jahren von Büchern und Zeichentrickfilmen inspiriert und begann mit dreizehn Jahren Zeichenunterricht zu nehmen. 2021 schloss sie ihr Studium an der Universität Palermo mit einem Abschluss in Illustrationsdesign ab. Seitdem arbeitet sie an Illustrationsprojekten für Kinder wie Bilderbücher, Zeitschriften und Brettspiele. Carolina arbeitet gerne hauptsächlich digital, erstellt magische Illustrationen zum Thema Natur mit niedlichen Charakteren und arbeitet mit Farbe und Licht, um eine Atmosphäre zu schaffen, die den Betrachter in die Geschichte eintauchen lässt. Carolina kreiert nicht nur Kunst, sondern schwimmt auch gerne und verbringt Zeit mit ihrem Hund Watson. Bis heute liest sie gerne Romane und sieht sich Animationsfilme an, die ihre Arbeit stark inspirieren.

Carolina Vázquez (she/her) is a children’s book illustrator living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Carolina was born in 2000 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was endlessly inspired by books and animation from an early age and started taking drawing classes when she was thirteen. She graduated from Palermo University with a degree in Illustration Design in 2021. Since then, she has been working on children’s illustration projects such as picture books, magazines and board games. Carolina enjoys working mainly digitally, creating magical nature-themed illustrations with cute characters and working with color and light to create an atmosphere that’ll immerse the viewer in the story. Along with creating art, Carolina enjoys swimming and spending time with her dog, Watson. To this day, she still loves reading novels and watching animated movies, which greatly inspire her work.
